A man has been charged with the murder of a Sheffield couple, who were found dead at the scene last weekend.
James Andrews, 51, of Reney Avenue, Sheffield, was charged with two counts of murder. He appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on 29 November 2022.
Officers were called at around 10:15am on Sunday, 27 November 2022, after welfare concerns for a property on Terry Road, Dore.
The couple, aged in their 70s, were pronounced dead at the scene.
A report by South Yorkshire Police said: “Emergency services attended and found a man and a woman, both in their 70s, with critical injuries. They were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.”
Details of how the couple died are yet to be released.
